A broken foot and multiple equipment issues didn’t keep me from running around Evergreen Speedway last Sunday. Evergreen Drift’s invite-only season opener was a great success, despite several wrecks and fires. Tires were destroyed on track, while old friends caught up with one another in the uncharacteristic warmth of the Washington sun.

This event was a testament to the true nature of drifting. Pushing through misfortune to create something breathtakingly beautiful, all the while having the collective time of our life. I find it ironic that although times may be hard, when we come together to share what we love, we find a feeling of euphoria.

For those few hours, we feel as though we have nothing to worry about.

Must see | What Industrial Estates Are Made For

Not only is The Netherlands (my country) infested with speed camera’s, it’s also littered with speedbumps. Even on industrial estates. Looking at this clip makes me want to go back to the days where the industrial estates were speedbumpless and one could race around for hours on end… just what the estates were made for!

Oh my, Joshua Herron is back. He hadn’t uploaded a lot of material lately, but he made a comeback with this clip. And what a comeback it is!

The Formula Drift 2009 season has been over since October 2009, leaving driver Chris Forsberg with the title of being the 2009 Champion. There were many highs and lows throughout the season for many drivers, but with that aside, every driver put on amazing performances from coast to coast. This video is a compilation of some of the most memorable moments throughout the season, with the exclusion of Atlanta and Sonoma, which unfortunately I was not able to attend. Thank you everyone for the support in 2009.
