White EVO X, orange TE37’s… what’s not to like? It’s a trend that’s been going for a while, brightly coloured wheels. i believe it started with the Takate green wheels but then morphed in to the multicolour extravaganza you see nowadays. Not a bad thing if you ask me, diversity is the name of the game.
Oh, almost forgot… look at that sky! Great shot Paddy!

Mazda RX-7 by Paddy McGrath

4 03 2010

Yesterday I posted the preview, today it’s time for the real deal. This RX-7 once again shows what a good looking car it still is, even after 18 years!
While adding parts to this example, the owner hasn’t ruined the sleek lines of the original, but merely enhanced them. The small rear wing for example ties in nicely and at first glance I hadn’t noticed the new frontwings.
What I did strike me was the colour. You can say grey is a dull colour, but this grey looks so good!
Look at the shots and decide what you think. Paddy has done a great job at the shots!

EDIT: In response to Freddy’s question I asked Paddy what wheels are on the car.

They’re Advan Model 6’s AFAIK, F18x9 R18x10.

So, there you go!

Lexus @ Modified Motors Live by Paddy McGrath

13 10 2009

These shots were taken at Modified Motors Live at the Punchestown track. The black Lexus is a project (not sure on its status) featuring masses of carbon and trick racecar modifications. Just look at those arches! From what I can remember, this car is being built for time attack. If you ask me, this will be joining the ranks in the JGTC. It looks mean in bare carbon.

I’ve gotta give this a plug. Paddy McGrath shoots great photos, we all know that. Just look at his shoot of the Rocket Bunny 6666. And now there is more good news! Paddy has added hugely sized photos to his flickr account for us to download and use as wallpapers.

Check this sample of one of the DriftWorks cars.
