Mazda RX-7 by Paddy McGrath

Yesterday I posted the preview, today it’s time for the real deal. This RX-7 once again shows what a good looking car it still is, even after 18 years!
While adding parts to this example, the owner hasn’t ruined the sleek lines of the original, but merely enhanced them. The small rear wing for example ties in nicely and at first glance I hadn’t noticed the new frontwings.
What I did strike me was the colour. You can say grey is a dull colour, but this grey looks so good!
Look at the shots and decide what you think. Paddy has done a great job at the shots!

EDIT: In response to Freddy’s question I asked Paddy what wheels are on the car.

They’re Advan Model 6’s AFAIK, F18x9 R18x10.

One the top RX-7s of Holland, the Jeroentje.nl Mazda RX-7 at JAF (Japanese Autosport Festival) at Assen. Built for the track and to showcase his shop. This car has, amongst a whole lot of other things, a V-Mount set and thoroughly reworked engine. Nice!

RE Amemiya have always been famous for their Porsche front end conversions on RX-7’s. With the new generation of Porsche’s finest, RE-A has upgraded as well.
I’m usually not a fan of these Frankenstein creations, but RE-A’s conversions somehow always work. The lines of the RX-7 go well with the Porsche headlights. I want one!

Found these wallpapers over on WallpaperGarage.com. Most of you must already know of this car. But I still think these shots are worth posting, just because it still is a great car.
